Scenario: Indonesia In the Sino-Australian War

Let's have a largest world war games early summer next year. The place is Northern Australia.

In the scenario, it is assumed that an oriental army suddenly invaded South-East Asia. Early in the spring, approximately 1 million troops flooding nations in the region. With blitzkrieg operation and highly mobile warfare they quickly reach Malaysia and preparing to cross Malacca straits and threaten to invade Indonesia and then Australia.

The free nations of the world responded quickly by sending their troops to Northern Australia in order to prevent invasion of Australia and liberate the invaded states. Approximately 500 thousands troop, a large fleet, aircraft and equipment amassed in northern Australia.

While the Allied troops preparing, the oriental army launches an invasion to capture Sumatra and Java. They quickly sweep throughout Sumatra with little resistance. The capital city of Jakarta fights fiercely but couldn’t resist the invading force and captured. After the capture of the capital, the whole country loses the spirit to fight and surrendered.

The allied troops launch the three landing operation simultaneously in three beaches, Pangandaran, Blambangan and Surabaya. Meanwhile, allied also drop three airborne divisions in Jakarta to recapture the capital city.

The airborne quickly capture the Halim airport in an attempt to receive more reinforcements. Allied 3rd army land in Halim to help the airborne recapture Jakarta.

The marines from pangandaran quickly advance to Jakarta with heavy fights and finally link up with the airborne plus reinforcement troops.

The marines who land in Blambangan and Surabaya fight to link each other. The oriental 7th and 9th armies is trapped in central Java and preparing a retreat operation to Singapore through Semarang port. The allied commander aware of this situation, press on in a standard double envelopment tactic to crush the oriental armies while allied troops bombard Semarang from sea and air. Finally the two oriental armies destroyed and the survivors surrender.

An attempt by oriental navy to reinforce the troops in Java Island is intercepted by allied fleet in the sea 200 km northwest Jakarta Bay. The interceptors sink most of the invader ships including 50.000 reinforcement’s troops.

This defeat is the turning point of the war, the Oriental strengthen their defense in the Asian continent expecting an enemy’s landing operation while the allied preparing to land in Asia mainland to further liberate the regions.

The US, Australian, and NZ will play as allied troops while all European armies play as Oriental army. The allied troops will be stationed in Northern Australia, while the ‘Oriental’ troop will be stationed in Singapore to simulate the oriental army.
